My name is Amber Collins-Gebrehiwet. Since January 2, 2023, I have proudly served as the presiding judge of Marion Circuit Court. I am a native of Marion County, Indiana. I attended Pike High School and then received my undergraduate degree from Northwestern University, achieving the distinction of Dean's List Recipient. I completed law school at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana. When I first graduated from law school, I served the community as a private practitioner. I then served as a deputy prosecutor for seven and a half years. After which, I had the honor of being a Magistrate in Marion Circuit Court for three years. I serve on the boards of two local non-profit organizations. I also volunteer with a local organization that aims to inspire youth to pursue educational excellence and find their career paths. Because of my continued commitment to this community, I seek to be reelected as your Marion Circuit Court Judge.

I strive to serve as a judge with a strong sense of fairness, patience, and impartiality. I have a strong work ethic, and I know the Court system well. I have tried over 40 jury trials and over 70 bench trials. I have spent my entire legal career serving the citizens of Marion County and look forward to continuing to serve them from the bench.
As a judge, my goal is to ensure that all litigants have effective access to the Courts without regard to financial circumstances.

I appreciate your support of my candidacy.
